Homemade fun
. . . is the best kind of fun.
You wouldn't believe the amount of entertainment you can get from a few paper plates, some rubber bands and a box. We made these the other day and they have been the hit ever since.
They stand together and do concerts for me. What beats that?
We had to make two banjos because they became the hot item, and 1 banjo doesn't split very evenly between two small musicians.
This is why I'm so happy to be able to stay at home with my kids. This is what life is all about.

So very, veRY, VERY cute! Yes, it is wonderful to be home with your kids so that such moments can occur and be appreciated. It takes a bunch of help from Mom to make such awesome instruments.

Righteous! My kids put on concerts, but use racquetball rackets. These are wicked awesome because they make actual noise! On a side not, Gage got a battery driven guitar for Christmas, and the batteries ran out 2 times in one day. It's going to D.I. Hurrah for box banjoes!
