On a fieldtrip to the farm. . .

Yep, along with Jonathan's other firsts, we went on his first fieldtrip. Seth and I came along of course. Who want's to miss out on a fieldtrip?? Especially one to Hee Haw Farms! :) For weeks before the big day, Jonthan told everyone he saw about the upcoming event. When they asked where he would be going, he always said, "On a bus!" What could be cooler than that?

There was a whole playhouse of corn to jump around in, a corn maze, a hay ride, farm animals - the whole works.

The most notable animal of which was a pig that was over 1000 pounds. Named Leroy. (Or, "Weewoy" to Seth, just don't tell the pig we called him that.)

He was massive. That's the combined weight of Jonathan's entire kindgergarten class. . . I'll just let that soak in for a minute.

And the only thing that came to my mind when I was looking at him was, "that's SOME PIG."

Then to top it off they each got to walk through the pumpkin patch and pick their own pumpkin. Seth had his heart set on a tiny green one the size of an apple, and Jonathan went a little more traditional. Great times. :)

P.S. The only thing that would make this place cooler is if they used Case tractors, right Rob?
