We "gat no heat."

Somehow it's only fitting that the heater for your home would bite the dust in the dead of winter, on a day ranging from 33˚ all the way down to 19˚. Luckily it only gets to the 50's inside the house. . .

We've had repair men here today and should be back in business by tomorrow, if we make it through the night. Hehe - it won't be that bad though, because we'll have space heaters in everyone's rooms. Anyway, it's been an arctic adventure today. But the boys are so active that I don't think they even noticed it was cold. Maybe I should do more aerobic activities like they do all day long, and we could really cut down on our gas bill. . . :)

Here's to a nice cozy night and a new heater in the morning. :)

P.S. Day 2
An incredibly wonderful, honest and competent technician came first thing this morning, found the problem, fixed it, and fired up our furnace, much to my extreme delight. (Not to mention it was over 2 grand less expensive than the first technician's solution of a new heater.) Thanks to my dad and Micah for calling around for a second opinion, and sending a knowlegeable person to bring heat back into our lives. I just can't say how thrilled and grateful I was to see the flames burning inside that heater again, and to hear the heater kick on. I'm glad things like this happen every once in a while to make you remember what an incredible blessing it is to have these luxuries in the first place.

Little kids are Big inside.

Seth said something really funny today, in an effort to express an intense emotion. I had done something without knowing how much it would distress him, and he said to me, "Mom! You banged my life!" !! It's the polar opposite from saving someone's life, I guess. Maybe it's insensitive, but I had to laugh. Pretty intense for a little man.
