Quote of the day from Jonathan: "Mom, in Little People, I like Sonya Lee." "Mmm. That's nice. What do you like about her?" "She's pretty, and that's why I like her." And then he breaks into song while putting his toys away, "She's pretty, pretty prettiprettipretty. . ."

Classic. Absolutely classic. I have a neighbor girl who is 3 and already falls down in front of our 5 yr old neighbor boy so he can help her up. Lucky for me, Anna still thinks she can marry her Grandpa Clarke.

I love it! He'll win her over with his song.
My friend's 7 yr old daughter says that two boys at school "love-like" her. What do you think that means? Lets tell our husbands we love-like 'em to see how they respond.

LOL
I guess that's different than to "like...love" somebody.
Or even to "like-like" them (we used to use that one to distinguish between friendship (like) and a crush(LIKE-like). Did anyone else use that one?
Maybe "love-like" is even deeper. There's a whole continuum here that we need to become familiar with before our kids start school. . .
